When they do…you may notice an influx in intrusive thoughts. Some quite dark. What you used to be able to shake or push away/down…becomes harder to do so, and the intrusive thoughts take up more and more room.

This is no different than when a parasite is in our body and we find ourselves “randomly” craving sugar.

How does one remove oneself from the hold of such an entity?

Joy….Love…and Laughter.

Our nervous system keeps score, and when we are experiencing a trigger or something that energetically stays with us, we have a choice. We can let it be absorbed or keep our energy to ourselves. Sarah uses the example of walking into a room where two people had just argued. You can feel the tension in the air and the awkward silence between them. If unaware, you may take on some of that tension even though you felt fine and happy before you came into the room.

Joy shares another example where she was on a walk and enjoying herself, when her friend rushed her, and she lost her whimsical feeling. Instead of staying in energy and feelings of annoyance and anger, she sat with it, let it pass, spoke her truth, and was able to return to her happy, whimsical self.

It boils down to awareness and mindfulness. When we are aware of how our bodies and energy are reacting to our surroundings, we can take control over them when we become off-center. This is a loving practice to not just stay grounded and calm, but to bring ourselves back to the place of inner peace, regardless of our circumstances.

For Sarah, Jesus was a loving teacher who explained his teachings to her when she was younger, never marrying Jesus to the Church.

For me, Chruch and Jesus were synonymous, and when I left the Church at 25, I became an atheist for eight years. After my spiritual awakening in 2017, I began meeting Jesus in meditation, and in a session with Sarah in 2024, I was finally able to separate Jesus from the Church.

I didn’t think I had a witch wound for the longest time.

Oh…I knew something was going on, but while the women around me embraced their inner witch…I didn’t think I had one.

It took three years for me to soften…to really understand what being a witch meant for me.

As women…When I think of our witchy side…it’s wild, free, and bold.

She stands in her knowledge. Be it herbs, energy, the stars–doesn’t matter. She fucking owns it. She’s willing to die for it.

Now that’s intense in the most sacred way.

While this song isn’t explicitly about being a witch, to me, it embodies how I view my witchy side. It speaks to that part of ourselves that has inner knowing…our deep intuition that wants to come alive and weave into our daily lives.

As we walk this journey and embrace our wild nature, we realize we are not simply wild; we are wise.

This wisdom is innate. We didn’t earn it through experience in this lifetime, but in many. It is the collective feminine wisdom that flows through us…if we simply wish to access it.

There is the other side though…the wounded side. The ancestral pain of being rejected, other, too much, too otherworldly, mocked, raped, betrayed, burned.

While we may not have lived it out in this lifetime like in the ways of old, the pain of generations screams within us to be heard…and released.

It is an energy very easy to tap into…and without awareness, as women, we can easily tap into it and take it on as our own.

It manifests as feminism, hatred for men, boss babe culture, and just a general fuck you to the deep feminine way of living.

In a world where we are bombarded with ‘information’ and are addicted to consuming, it’s amazing that some of us are even able to shut that out and listen to the deep wisdom that lives inside.
